The  Hatchling's  Hoard

Agatha is a very social dragon, which works out well for her sisters gem buisness. After their parents ran off together when Agatha was still a relatively young dragon, she developed a bit of a complex concerning companionship.

 

She goes out of her way to be as friendly and kind to other dragons as she can. Some say she is this way because she has a need for approval due to her abandonment, but Gemma maintains that Aggie has always been this way. 

 

While she can be a little needy sometimes most dragons agree that her carefree spirit and zest for life make her a joy to be around. She is extremely loyal to her sister and her friends, which occasionally gets her into trouble. While it's hard to get on her bad side, she won't be shy about her dislike for someone if they bully others. 

 

When she was younger Aggie was caught in a terrible mine collapse. A huge chunk of rock fell from the roof of the mine and landed directly on the junction at the bottom of her spine. Her tail was broken in three places and the spikes in that area broke off completely. While some healing dragons may have been capable of reattaching them, the spikes themselves were lost in the mine and never found. 

 

She was rescued from the mine by Nicholas, who rushed in to help any trapped dragons despite his air element. It was just after this incident that Agatha and Dragonshy became friends. 

 

Agatha is no longer comfortable going underground and in fact has nightmares about being trapped in the dark chasm that her sister still frequents. Her experience stayed with her and she chose to stay above ground running the shop instead of helping her sister collect gems as she had previously. Still this did nothing to dampen her spirits and she remains a cheerful little dragon. 

 

While she does spend a great deal of time hanging out in the shop, Aggie still makes sure to see her friends on a regular basis. Their favorite activities include, but are not limited to: following Wren around, attempting to wheedle treats out of the sweets shop owner, and harassing Gemma to ut on a special gem show.
